Dr. Taylor B. Mast is a passionate dental professional dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Originally from Smithfield, NC, he pursued his education at NC State, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Human Biology. He furthered his academic journey at the ECU School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Mast's decision to become a dentist arose during his senior year of college. Drawn to healthcare professions due to his desire to make a difference in people's lives, he found dentistry to be the perfect fit. Driven by his enjoyment of working with his hands, he discovered that dentistry allowed him to utilize his manual dexterity to enhance the lives of patients on a daily basis. Dr. Mast's particular areas of interest within dentistry include fixed prosthodontics and surgery. These aspects of the field resonate with him, and he derives great satisfaction from performing these procedures. His dedication to excellence in prosthodontics was recognized when he received the Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics Award prior to his graduation.
